My 5000th View

Hi readers!  Today is a big day for me.  I’ve hit the 100th post mark twice.  I hit the 100th follower mark just last week.  Today is an even bigger accomplishment because today I am raking in my 5000th view!

I am absurdly excited about this because it is a source of validation for me.  In a previous post (in a previous blog), I wrote about how I don’t do Facebook and I don’t really do Twitter.  (By the way, if you remember that post, Marques Colston stopped following me.  It was bound to happen.)

This is Marques Colston dodging my Twitter feed. Don’t blame you, son. I don’t even use my Twitter feed anymore. (My real one, not my @RealUndercoverL one.)

I just found that being the real me (not UndercoverL) opened me up to a lot of rejection and judgment that I didn’t want to shoulder.  So I shied away from social media.  However, under a pseudonym, I get to be whomever and whatever I want, and if you don’t like it, that’s okay, because it’s only partially me.  (That’s why I am back on Twitter.  I am putting my gloved middle finger up to Facebook from here until the end of the world-wide web.)

But I really could not have pulled this number out of the air without readers.  (I tried, but then I realized that my ISP and cookies have made my own visits to my site irrelevant.)  I appreciate you for visiting and reading… but mostly because you comment.  You share your views with me and I love that!

So here is what I would love to ask of you…

Can you tell me what you want to see on my blog?

Currently, I have my entries for the Trifecta Writing Challenge, which have recently been the makings of a slowly-building novel.  Have you read that?  What do you think?

I also like to do WTF Fridays, which are a fun way to complain about life with good humor and in good fun.  Do you like those?

I used to do Awesome Wife Conversations because I feel like I have a lot of relationship advice to share, now that I am on my second marriage to a man that I absolutely cannot and will not part with.  But that became a bit too personal and I decided that it was not fair to do that without my husband’s stamp of approval.

Do you want more fiction?  Should I post snippets from the other novel I am working on?  More photos?  More stupid drawings done on Paint?  More polls?  Should I finish that thought of creating a new award to send through the blogosphere?  What about coming up with a writing challenge?

What makes the blogs you love so darned… well… loveable?  Let me know because I want to be on the list of loveable blogs.
